BALDESSIN STUDIO- 4 DAY SUMMER WORKSHOPS Thur 26 - Sun 29 January 2012

There will be interaction between the 3 groups , creating an exciting ambience in the studio and surrounds. Over the 4 days there will be time and space for meals, walks, discussions, interactions and collaborations.

1. Photogravure workshop - Thur 26 - Sun 29 January 2012 with Silvi Glattauer.

Learn to make photo etchings from your images. Small group making polymer plates from a photographic image and hand printing them using the intaglio press. Silvi is a well known practitioner and teacher of this technique, see www.silvi.au for examples of her exquisite work.

2. Printmaking Workshop - Thur 26 - Sun 29 January 2012 with Rob Hails

All levels catered for in a small group doing traditional black and white etching on zinc and monotype techniques which can be applied to the black and white etching to add colour. Lots of creative possibilities here, under Robert's friendly guidance.

3. Ephemeral Bush Sculpture workshop- Thur 26 - Sun 29 January 2012 with Lloyd Godman

Make a wonderful creative intervention into Nature, using the materials at hand, and leaving no footprint.(think Andy Goldsworthy) Learn how to document your piece photographically like a professional, so the work lives on via the photograph.

Lloyd Godman is a highly respected and eclectic ecologist photographer/artist who will inspire and stimulate your creative self.

Level: beginner, intermediate, advanced
