Description
Silk Screen Printing is a one day workshop with teacher Laura Carey, that is an excellent introduction to the printmaking process. You will learn the basics of screen printing including screens, squeegees and inks. You will create your own designs and learn how to print on fabric and paper. The art of stencil design and cutting will be demonstrated as well as hands on screen printing. Maximum 8 students.
Laura Carey studied printmaking in Ireland and has recently moved to Sydney where she has completed postgraduate studies at the College of Fine Arts UNSW. She adopts many printing techniques to create her images, like the one pictured.
